Round 7 (November 2024)

You have donated the amount of 21,170.00 PLN (approx 5,167 USD). After consulting the expenses with our Ukrainian partners we have purchased equipment carefully selected to meet the current needs:

  • 20 certified military tourniquets (SamXT),
  • 1 DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone,
  • 2 EcoFlows Delta 2,
  • 1 Starlink,

With help of our associate, Joanna, we have delivered the items to Kyiv, from where they will be immediately transferred to the 58 Brigade and Legion V operating in Donbas, where the most severe fights now take place.

After the 7th round the total amount donated by you since the beginning of the full-scale war is as much as 57,000 USD.

Yes, we are exhausted. It is hard to balance our volunteer work with our professional and family lives. But contrary to what some say we see no way to end the war “in 24 hours”. Any peace without strong integration of Ukraine with western structures will be an appeasement and in a few years will bring even a greater disaster to the whole democratic world. We know this as historians and as people whose friends, family and colleagues from the academy are fighting and falling for freedom on the front lines.

We trust that even a small initiative like ours will help defend and spread the freedom in Ukraine and beyond. Thank you for your support.

Round 8 (March 2025)

In the 8th round you showed incredible generosity! We have received donations in the amount of 47,273.58 PLN (approx $12,125). After consulting the expenses with our Ukrainian partners we have purchased reconnaissance and first aid equipment carefully selected to meet the current needs:

• 30 certified military tourniquets (SamXT);
• 10 military grade first aid kits;
• 2 x Drone DJI Mavic 3 Pro (RC);
• 3 x EcoFlow Delta 2;
• 1 x EcoFlow Smart Generator Dual Fuel;
• Camera INSTA360 X4;
• INSTA360 GPS Preview Remote.

On March 29, our associate Joanna transferred the equipment to Kyiv. She was going to Ukraine with the masking nets created by the Wroclaw Ukrainian community and asked us if we have some things to pass on to Kyiv. It is the second time that her effort enabled us to stay at home, concentrate on our work and normal lives. From Kyiv equipment was taken by Alex and Yaroslav and delivered last Saturday (5th of April) to 14 brigades, 93 brigades and Legion V in Donbas.

The situation is difficult, but your support brings relief and raises morale. Alex, who has just returned from behind the front lines, reports: “Soldiers could have coffee with us, chill out a bit, and it gets to the point where they thank us for the moment of relaxation.” He was devastated by the news from Kryvyi Rih where children the age of his own children died in a Russian missile attack. “Everyone is tired, especially those who fight and those who help them, but not to the
point of consenting to everything. Those who fight, understand that the longer war lasts, the more we lose and the more people die. But if we stop now, if we stop the pressure, it will be much worse than we can imagine now. In five years we would be wiped off the map and Ukraine would cease to exist.”

After the 8th round the total amount donated by you since the beginning of the full-scale war is more than $69,000.

Thank you for standing together!
